Mark Zuckerburg, a week after of high profile acquisition of WhatsApp said at MWC 2014 in Barcelona that the WhatsApp is the most popular instant messaging service among people around the world, and we paid for it, is a balanced deal.
In keynote speech at Barcelona, Zuckerburg said,
"WhatsApp is a great company, and it's a great fit for us.It is the most engaging app that we've ever seen that exist on smartphones so far. He also announced a voice calling service would be added to WhatsApp in coming months and Facebook's Internet.org initiative will provide free web access in emerging market."
