Android device as a security camera
If you are going to replace your old Android phone or have some unused Android devices than here is an idea how to utilize them. You can use Android devices as a security camera at home viewable from anywhere and all for free.

Having a secure home is always a plus, and this makes it easier. So you wanted to learn how to turn your old Android devices into security cameras, see below steps and follow them.


Requirements:

  1. Internet connection on a computer
  2. One or multiple unused Android devices with a bar-code scanner or a file   manager on them
  3. An Android device with service
  4. Access to your own router and it's page

Step 1: Getting the right app to install on your unused Android devices, is called IP webcam.

Step 2: Finally! after setting up IP webcam on the Android devices, you need to hook up your devices to wireless router through it's Wi-Fi connection. This needed fot it to work properly and not to be huggy.
