Apple's iPhone 5s and Samsung's new Galaxy S5 both smartphones have fingerprint scanner as a security feature to unlock the phone. Apple had launched iPhone 5s integrated with latest flagship feature Touch ID fingerprint scanner, to unlock the phone you have to tap fingerprint on Home button then fingerprint scanner will detect the touch of finger and unlock after authentication.
The new Samsung Galaxy S5's will hit the stores on April 8th, also has fingerprint scanner as a security feature, you have to swipe finger downward over the Home button fingerprint scanner will authenticate and unlock the phone.
